Ocean Lifeguard Opportunities

Surfside Beach is located 6 miles south of Myrtle Beach, SC  and about 80 miles north of Charleston, SC.

Certified persons and early arrival dates will be given priority consideration for lifeguard employment.

Beach Services, Ltd. is currently seeking Ocean Lifeguards for the upcoming summer season.

- Interested persons should be 17 years of age and able to swim 500 meters (pool and ocean) in 10 minutes or less.

-12 to 15 lifeguard stations cover approximately 3.5 miles of beach and operate between May 15 to Sept. 15 each season.

-Housing available within 1/4 mile of office.

-Transportation available to and from work.

-Grocery store and restaurants located within 1/4 mile of Guardhouse.

 

We have openings for Concession Cart Operators.  Sell soft frozen lemonade on the beach!
